Where to get a 6.5x47 Lapua headspace go gauge?

I have my Rock Creek 6.5 Lapua Savage prefit barrel, but can't find the headspace go gauge to get-r-dun. Midway is out of stock, and I don't see that caliber at PTG. Anyone know where I can get one? I'm anxious to get this barrel installed on my Savage!

If you actually call PT&G they might have one sitting on the shelf. If not, I'm sure Dave can get one coming to you in a hurry.

6x47 - 6.5x47 - and 30x47 all take the same go gauge.....

Thank you all for the very helpful replies!

expiper, I'm interested in your method of using a resized case in my die. I have the Hornady Match bushing FL die and virgin Lapua brass. I've never swapped a barrel before. Will the virgin Lapua brass resized in my Hornady die be ok to use as a Go-Gauge? Then do I put some scotch tape on the case head to make a no-go gauge? I think I read something like that before.

Hi Qbert,hi all

I might just as well be giving you ballonies,I'm not sure at all,so my apologies if I am,but don't Forster dies make and sell Go and nogo gauges? Good luck.

I have a PTG Go -No GO call them ask for Dave he will get it for you it may be listed as 6x47L same headspace as 6.5

I am at Stiller Precision for a couple of days visiting Jerry and Curtis. I will be back in the office Monday. If you need the gauges let me know. THANKS Dave
