Where to get 100 yd and 200 yd rubber target stamps

Well, I'm getting ready to break-in and tune my new BR rifle (it's taken forever to address all the loading details), and would like to get/use 100 and 200 yd target stamps (rubber stamps and ink pads ) so I can hand stamp multiple targets on one large sheet of target paper (I'm using 3 ft wide computer plotter paper - dont know how it will work) for purposes of tuning the barrel (groups of 3 shots for each powder load for each of maybe 4-5 loads, each set of loads by bullet seating depth - 4-5 depths, from the touch point). I am new to this - havn't shot my new (first, 6.5x47, 28.5" barrel) BR rifle yet - but have learned a lot from Tony Boyer's BR book, which is where I have learned this stuff.

Where can I get a 100 and 200 yd target stamp without the square aiming box on the top (dont know why that aiming box is there on IBR targets - maybe you can tell me). Sinclair has such targets but only with the aiming box on top, which I don't want (I think). Maybe I just need to have my own rubber stamps made at a local stamp shop. Please tell me your thoughts how to proceed.

Thought's?

100 and 200yrd targets don't need an aiming point of anything larger than a Dime.
Why not just buy a Bingo Card Blotter?
Glue a piece of Felt to a 1/2" dowel?

Don't over think it, K.I.S.S.

For sighting in and testing loads for group size I do this. Went to an office supply store and had them make me a rubber stamp 1 inch square. Just stamp a bunch of 1 in squares on a piece of paper and you can fire a bunch of groups on a single sheet. Saves a lot of walking too!

How about gluing an o-ring or a flat rubber washer onto a piece of wood dowel. You can make different sizes for different yardages. I have not tried it but my wife just suggested that one, sounds good , I may have to try it myself.

Send me your address and I will send you a 100 yd. stamp. It was purchased from Sinclair many years ago and I don't use it anymore. It has the 1" square and circles like the 100 yd BR target. So somebody might as well use it. Lonnie

I did some searching on the net and found a print and saved it on my computer. I then modified the program to print on a piece of actual target paper that is 8" X 11" or so. I did several tests measuring the printed target to get the actual size real close.

I have the 100 and 200 yd targets. I buy 100 yd score targets and cut them into the right size and print them out on my computer. They work very good. I highly recommend real target paper because the holes cut very good. I have tried other types of card stock and heavier paper from the office supply and they just don't work very good.

I can send you them if you want, just send me a PM and I will email them to you.

Joe

Oh, I bought a target stamp from Sinclair and cut the square off the rubber stamp. It works OK, but the lines on the stamp are very thick compared to target. I thought about finding someone to make a stamp but never did.

Maybe this will help you track your load development. I built this spreadsheet because I had so many different loads and seating depths and ended up without good records to look back on. You can track up to 12 -5 shot groups, or 60 rounds per spread sheet. It will calc Avg.,High Vel.,Low Vel.,Extreme Spread.,Std Dev. Just enter your velocity from your crono. It will also calc your Group Size Inches, Group Size MOA, Vert Spread Inches, Vert Spread MOA. It will plot all of your shots. and then show you on a graph your ladder results. Only put data in the "Gray" highlighted areas and save a copy of the blank speadsheet before you start so you always have a new one. There are two sheets. One as an example and the other for tracking. If you have questions, PM me. I'll be happy to assist you.

The rectangular box is there to use as an aiming point in heavy mirage, when the mothball scoring ring gets too blurry. Whatever target you choose, use a good backer like homosote, or coroplast, (cardboard is OK) and staple or pin the target paper tight to the backer.......keeps the bullet holes more defined which is easier to see in scope and allows for more accurate measurement of groups (no tearing- if you use the right paper). I get those 3/4" round color coding labels made by Avery....~1000 for ~ $4...I like the green and paste a bunch on heavy mill 8-1/2 x 11 paper which I bought a ream of.
When you get your load development done, there is no substitute for practice on the same target as used in competition.

One of our local stores makes up rubber stamps in about any configuration you can dream of..
I have them from 1/4 inch to 2"........

I had a friend make this target up for me and it works well for what I am after. It allows me to put all the pertinent info on the paper and gives me enough targets for my range session. If I need more I just use another target. The circles are pretty close to the 100 yd. BR target. Works for me. If anyone is interested in one of these let me know and I can email a copy.

I use poster board with half inch shoot n see dots. I think you may like the 50 yard rimfire targets. These are great load developement targets.

I have tried the rubber washer gig, the rubber tubing gig, different hoses. I have found the best stamper is a rubber strain relief from a Milwaukee power hand drill. My second favorite is a rubber plug that goes into a beacon and allows a glass tube to protrude out of a small hole. The pic below has a 1/2" center. not sure if this is what u are trying to achieve. I like white cardboard with red ink
