where to buy the new SVSS ED

Hi all. I'm looking to buy the new svss ed 10-50x60mm, 27011, with the MOA-H reticle. Anyone have any leads? I see it on optics planet and adorama for 2400.
Thanks
Evan

give the ad a few days, there is a guy on here that sells sightron at a nice discount, he may see this. im sorry I don't remember his name:(. bryant

I didn’t know about dealers on here and didn’t think to ask. I did order one from opticsplanet for full price recently and am happy with its performance so far. Will be putting together a little review in the future over it.

I'm very curious what you think of it. It seems like everyone who has one loves it. How would you compare it to a Golden Eagle?

While I haven't looked through their new ed model, I think that up to 50x, both in the short range comparing bullet holes, and long range (850-1000 silhouette) the golden eagles and regular siii 10-50x60mm's look identical. Move the golden eagle to 60x and it just gets really dark. You may struggle to use it on a darker overcast day IMO. But that was my perception of those two. I imagine their new ed glass to be excellent

I've noticed that too. Only in absolutely prime conditions does 60x work because it does dim noticeably and becomes very difficult to focus- any mirage is just amplified. I usually use it between 35 and 50.

Also wanted to let folks know that lancexxx hooked me up with a really great deal and that is all underway. If you want to buy a scope, send him a pm!

I’m shooting a match this weekend and will report back on my impression of it.
