Where are the Sierra Bullets?

I placed an order direct with Sierra for 142 SMKs and it was filled within 2 months. Long time yes, but I planned ahead and the wait wasn’t a big deal.
I also placed 95 TMKs on that same order and gave her to see them, working on 4 months.
Today at local Cabelas I saw quite a few 77s, 69s and 168s on the shelf.
My guess is they’re concentrating on the highest demand bullets in high numbers and producing their other items slower.

I haven't been to my local gun shops in quite a while, probably close to 6 months. On Thursday I visited my favorite shop to renew my hunting license. In the past this shop always had a full line of Sierra bullets. Even during the Clinton and Obama eras they had a decent supply but were enforcing limits on purchases.
On Thursday I was shocked beyond my wildest imagination. In the 30+ years of doing business with them I never saw it like this. There were NO Sierra, Nosler and only a very few Hornady bullets, mostly for atypical purposes. No primers which I expected. No 22 rim fire which I didn't expect. The rifle racks and pistol counters were almost empty.
They had a very limited supply of factory ammo with a two box limit purchase. The did have some powder even in popular brands and types.
I talked to the owner who I've know a long time and he said that he was losing hundreds of dollars a month in lost sales and might be forced to close if this situation doesn't improve soon. Wow, that was depressing to say the least.
No sure what is going on but I've never seen it like this.

If you need to add to your orders or place new ones, we would highly encourage you to focus on these (if applicable for your market) as we foresee being able to fulfill in the very near future. The majority of all other bullets will not be produced until 2022. As this list changes, we will continue to communicate.

You would think they could mix it up a little!
Was at the Omaha Scheels regularly for the past month and saw a good supply of 168’s, 175’s and 77’s.
