Try these from Brunos shooting suppyDoes anyone know of any Forster 6mmBR FL sizing in stock anywhere?
Or Harrell's PrecisionGrab some whidden fl bushing dies off the shelf. Youll end up there eventually
Ive not had the best of luck w/ Whidden, so I won't end up there. I much prefer a honed forster vs any bushing die.Grab some whidden fl bushing dies off the shelf. Youll end up there eventually
That is exactly the path that I took. I am 100% Whidden now for my sizing dies.Grab some whidden fl bushing dies off the shelf. Youll end up there eventually
Funny that you mention that.. had an issue with a brand new 30BR sizing die (2 weeks ago) so I called Whidden and they admitted to the issue and send me the parts required to fix it. Seems like growing pains in a lot of shops these days.I've heard that Whidden's quality control on shelf dies has been hit and miss lately.
This is 2nd or 3rd hand info, so take it as it is.
Never had a problem with Forster's, just some are harder to find than others, right now.
I got a dasher set a few weeks ago to go with a barrel i did. They were on the shelf and seemed to be flawless, although i did only bump back a box that i false shouldered for him so not much hard use just the bushing part and seater. Didnt see any issues though. May have got lucky but i usually see at least one set a week come in.I've heard that Whidden's quality control on shelf dies has been hit and miss lately.

The Harrell will be $$$ but the quality will knock you over and you will only ever need to buy once....Or Harrell's Precision
I would beg to differ and point out that $91.00 shipped for a semi custom Harrell’s FL die is very reasonable. The Harrell will be $$$ but the quality will knock you over and you will only ever need to buy once....
Bushing dies with No doughnut at the shoulder...
As we used to say in the race car business..."Speed costs money... How fast do you want to go..."
you realize that neither of those two cartridges are in the top 10, probably not in the top 20 of common use.
just because WE want them does not make them "in demand".
