When did Sierra start pointing bullets?

Longer ago than that. I’ve been shooting 125smk for at least 5 years and they were pointed when they were released. I just think sierra is adding pointing as they retool a given smk??

Don't know about the 107 grain, but I was shooting pointed Sierra 6mm bullets in the late fifties, early 60's.

I believe the correct answer is around 2015.
I had some of both, pointed and unpointed that year.

( the question was "when" on the 6mm 107, for those having a hard time reading)

I love that dig.. "When", as I said on the 107 grain, I don't know. But then "When" might mean that prior to them being pointed maybe they were flat nosed, you think ? Oh the fun we could have.

I bought my first SMKs in 2015 and they were pointed.

Ok so the correct answer is around 2015 which jives with my approximation of 2016. Not being an astute study of sierra bullets thats just when i remember seeing them at matches and when the pointing craze started up
