What's the problem?

I have a new full length competition resizing dye from RCBS which has been working fine for my first 50 casings. However, now when I have run the casings through, the neck has not been tightened in order for bullets to be seated. The neck is too loose and the bullets just fall through. Why is a new dye doing this and what could be the problem?

Did you turn the case necks?

Never used an RCBS comp die.
Is this a bushing die? Is there one in it?
Just thinking you ran 50pcs of virgin brass through it without a bushing. Now that they're once fired the missing bushing becomes obvious.

What does the expander ball measure?

Sounds like the expander ball is too big for the caliber.

No bushing in an RCBS Comp. die, just tighter specs., I'd check the size, is it the right die?

Does the body get sized?
