What you can't get in a book or magazine

I have always enjoyed reading from the printed page, like most things, there is a down side, as well as the up...no videos.

If you will allow me to direct you to this sites huge index of articles, that have been created by the Forum Boss, http://www.accurateshooter.com/articles/ you will see that in the RH column, sprinkled intermittently down the page (Scroll down and take a look.) there are icons that indicate that the article contains one or more video clips.

Now I don't care whose print magazine, or book you are talking about, they can't offer that, and I think that these videos bring us information if a very useful and enjoyable manner.

Print has its limits, and video by itself is not the best way to handle subjects that have a lot of important details (and they don't print out very well ;-), but the combination of the two is powerful.

In addition to the clips in the articles, they are frequent items in the Bulletin, and there is a separate index for them on the main page, which brings me to my hidden agenda (Play ominous sounding background music.) getting those of you who have not been there to take a serious look around on this site's main page. http://www.accurateshooter.com/
It has an amazing array of good stuff for you to enjoy, more than any other shooting site that I have ever seen. Take a look. You won't be sorry that you did.

I for one have read alot of them and have many to go.Boyd when can you write a book with your own vast knowledge,I personally think that at least half the members would buy it.

Thanks Jon. That is a nice complement. I have not given a book much thought. Usually one parlays some sort of related fame into interest in a book, and while I may be a lot of things, famous is not on the list....infamous perhaps, but definitely not famous.

Thanks Boyd. I have read some of them, but clearly not enough. I'll spend more time hunting through them.

C'mon Boyd, someone has to step up and write a book with tidbits of wisdom, tech knowledge and humor... Can you think of where we would be with out the likes of "Joe Rychetnik" & "Skeeter Skelton", to name a few. I dont believe that they had visions of being famous and making a boat load of money.. They just put down on paper what the rest of us thought, did, tried, wished we could do because they liked to write......

Just a thought.. C'mon, We can all proof it for ya.. ;D
