What variations can I change my 338 LM to other than a 338/06

338 Norma Mag would take a short barrel setback. Most others will take a new bolt and a full chamber removal if the barrel has enough shank and oal, or a new barrel.
338-06 would take a lot of work with the smaller head and narrow cartridge. Anything based on a 416 Rigby case would be easier assuming you have the action length. Maybe a 30-378 Wby.

A .338 NORMA MAG. would be the easiest and make the most sense.
Are you trying to reuse your existing barrel or are you asking about having a new barrel installed? It makes a difference.
Even with a new barrel though, you will have to consider the existing bolt face and the magazine system. But with the current availability of extra bolts and magazine systems, these too could be switched.
