What tool is this?

I have a very similar looking tool, mine has a hole through the ''tangs'' for a pin.. Holds a sear for a 1911 to stone it..

I'll try to get a couple more photos later. I need to go to town to mail out some rest tops and stop for carry out food. As she told me. Pat, I've had a few 1911s but never did anything with them. I actually have 2 of these tools and don't know where they came from or what they happen to be.

I've made 10 or 12 1911's over the last few years. Not from scratch but bought the frames and slides which needed to be fit to each other and the same with every other piece, hand fit.. Shoot them at the local USPSA matches..

Looks like my sear jig.

Ok I stand corrected. It was mentioned that a couple more views were needed and I was looking at the next picture which is a sear jig. I thought it was a different side of the first picture. Sorry.
