What scope to get?

Hello all I am, building a 6 xc, mostly for longrange varminting and some competition, have looked at umpteen scopes, and not sure what to get. I want a variable, but undecided on reticle, and not sure on brand, looking in 800 dollar range, need suggestions please.

Sightron S-III 8-32x56 They have some nice reticle choices. I have one on a 300RUM tac type gun with the LRMOA reticle that I like.

I have the same scope as AT on a longrange groundhog rifle and it works awesome. I bought it on here used for $625 shipped.

I have a Leupold 6.5x20,& 8.5x25 with a VH crosshair that I use for varminting.

In that price range, I would add my vote for the Sightron S IIIs. I have a 6x24 and an 8x32 and love them both. Sightrons can often be had at good discounts on sale from Midway, Natchez, Optics Planet and other optics retailers.
