What retailer does the most for the shooting sports?

Guys we all have plenty of options as to where we spend our money in the shooting sports and I am sure like most we frequent many of them, but my question is who gives back most to the shooting world? In other words which retailer gives back the most to the shooting and hunting communities in terms of time money conservation rescourses etc... to promote the sport we love and make sure it's around for our kids and theirs. When answering some facts or stats would be helpful and it's understandable if a smaller company can't do as big a number as the big guys but may do it as a larger percentage of sales, so really a higher percentage of sales means more to me than the mominal gross number Anyway I'd like to know as that means a lot to me and would influence how I buy, and without trying to be preachy it should probably influence you as well. Thanks

I don't know about retailers, but I get support for my juniors from Berger, Sierra, and Hogdon.
Our club also as gotten breaks from giraud and Nosler.

Midway does a lot as they collect roundup dollars so they can donate to the NRA in their name and not ours and they do other donations from their own pocket so to speak but they do a lot.Berger bullets does a lot as well and the list goes on.

Midway does alot. They sponsored several local youth and high school teams get started in my area. But don't forget your local shops. They might not be as competitive on price but most try. And they usually will help sponsor youth YHEC. teams.

Brownells would have to be close to the top. Not only the shooting sports but second ammendment issues as well as the wounded warriors project.

Retailers? Cabela's and Midway are supporters of Safari Club International (SCI), the worldwide hunting advocate.

Call the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for America's firearms industry. They should have the stats you're looking for. 203.426.1320 http://www.nssf.org/ :)

The sponsors naturally target the market and clients, it's just good business. But I have seen several smaller outfits give rather generously to the sport with more personal sacrifice. To me that is giving more proportionally. Travis Frazier of alloy targets is one of them. Seb and 21st Century are very generous and so is Whidden Gunworks and Ryan Pierce, for thier size are very supportive. They have my vote and loyalty.

I love Midway for their "stand behind their product" mentality. That said I don't look too far afield given that Midway satisfies.
