What powder for 20BR and 32gr bullets?

Hey guys,

I could really use some advice on selecting a powder for the 20BR I have recently built. Most of the data I find is for 39 to 50 gr bullets, including the 20 Cal page of this site. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. So far I have tried H335 and Varget working up to 30 grains of each with no success. My barrel is 24" and has a 1-12 twist. THANKS!!!

I didn't respond earlier because I use the 39gr Sierra BlitzKing
exclusively in both my 20BR's. I experimented with all the 32 and 35gr bullets in my .204Rugers and even in the slower .204R the 39gr bullet starting slower will pass,exceed in fps)the various 32gr bullets between 200 and 300 yards and hits harder from the muzzle out. VV N133 and N135 should work well with the 32gr bullets and they do with the 39BK too. 29.5 grains of N133 gives me ~4070fps with the 39BK in a 28" barrel with Lapua brass, a great low pressure prairie dog load. N135 and N140 shoots faster and a tenth better but with more powder. Benchmark might be what you are looking for with a 32 grain bullet. I'm using 1 in 12" twist barrel.

Ram Shot's Tac powder worked well for me with 39 gr. bullets and is very similar to H-335 but burns cleaner and is less temp. sensitive.
