What MOA you getting with your Semi

What I have learned over the years about shooting AR10 type rifles is this. You really have to apply the fundamentals to shooting. They truly show how bad you are doing. A bolt is much more forgiving. Heck even over the top poor fundamentals can still get you good accuracy with a bolt or AR15.

I finally got around to posting a pic from a little load development with my AR10. As you can see, it really likes RL-15, the others not so much.
I hope this helps,

I've built a lot of AR's (IMO anyway), both 15 and 10's. I started with custom cut rifled blanks and profiled, chambered, assembled myself. It's fairly easy (good barrel, decent trigger, and assembly) to get sub MOA (1/2-3/4 typically) with the AR15 platform. I expected 1/2 MOA and hoped for 1/3 MOA. This was with everything from 17 Rem, 20 Tac, 204R, 223,6x45, 6.5 Grendel, etc.... The AR10's are a little more finicky it seems, but I hope for 1/2-3/4 MOA out of them and expected 1 MOA. With all the same quality components (custom cut rifled barrel blank, chamber, BAT extension, squared upper receiver, bedded extension etc...) some 10's shot 1/2 MOA easily and others were just 1 to 1 1/4 MOA....it seemed like a bit of a crapshoot. This is my experience with a couple hundred custom ar15's and somewhere around 40 AR10's in everything from 243, 6.5x47, 260, 6.5 Creed,7-08, 308, 338 fed, 358 win...
