What Kind of Mounts are These??

They could be about anything. Lots of companies made mounts. Could be name brand or cheapies. Is there no name or numbers on them. Matt

They seem to be of nice quality. Aluminum, solid with nice fit. This rifle package is around late seventies vintage, so that is probably their age.

I've been a gun-nut since before that time, and find it odd that I've never seen anything much like them. The off-set design of the bases would allow for considerable change in scope placement for eye relief.

This rifle is kind of a mystery to me. The seller wasn't able to provide much info as to it's history. jd

Those are B-Square as I recall. I have a similar set on my Contender except on a 1 pc. base. Back about the 90's, I think.

Thanks guys. They may be one of the things I'm gonna change. Can't say there's anything wrong with them, just something I think I can do better than. jd
