Well I can see that Timo. Where does he get a single stack 45 acp magazine? Coyote I don't recognize those numbers, are you saying Browning High Power of some sort? Changing a 1911 barrel no sweat. Does he say where the magazine came from?

Gunsmith probably, Cut and Welded 3, single stack, Magazines,.. together !
Go to a Rough Neighborhood and Buy, a Glock 17 with, a 33 Round Mag and a Chinese, Glock Switch,.
it would be,.. CHEAPER !
Then use the Front Dovetail grooves to, Attach the homemade, Hand grip !
Just DON'T get, caught ! They are a Waste of Ammo, IMO !
Get a Glock model, 34 and,.. Hit,.. CHIT !!!

^^^^^^ Yes he did. Read his story, he made guns for some guys posing as oilmen trying to protect their money, who turned out to be baby face Nelson and John Dillinger. It's obviously his design but did he make them for the pilots or did the US government steal his design after they tried to put him in prison. This could go to the militaria show and the story would just selling uncle Chuck's pistol he brought home from France. No full autos for me semi auto only, not going to jail over something that is most likely uncontrollable.

I have read that during WWI there were extended magazines for 1911's that were issued to the pilots. This was prior to all the aircraft being fitted with synchronized machine guns mounted at eye level behing the props.

I guess with Uncle Sam's money a single stack magazine was just minor issue, stack up enough Bengamin's and most problems are solvable.

I would think that the side arm would be used if the pilot was shot down or crashed and lived he could use it for survival or self-defense while escaping enemy territory
