What kind of bullet do I have

These were given to my brother by one of his 22 shooting buddy's, they are 243 95 gr VLD bullets that run from 1.128 to 1.131 long. The only ID on the box is the weight and the name Hammett on it. I want to try them in my new Ruger 243 precision, barrel is 24 inches with a 1.7 twist-has anyone seen or used this bullet before. Carl in Yakima
