What is this stuff on this scope?

What are these two things on this scope? I’ve never seen a setup like this. The square box on top and the thing on the front of the scope.

Laser designator rangefinder for the upward/forward mounted device. The neoprene covered square at the rear is likely a red dot. The front tube is likely a thermal.

Agree 100%. Under the cover is a red dot if needed for a CQB shot. When the dot is set up on top, it is usually used to help locate a target quicker without wasting time to locate it through the magnification of the scope.
