A local gun smith has a rifle brought in to find out what it is?
After inspection, it was with the following.
40x action.
Un known barrel, with out ID.
40XAction
.350 Remington Mag. Chamber.
Rifled for 35 caliber for first 1/3 of barrel.
?no rifling next 1/3 and may be tapered?
Rifled the last 1/3 of barrel for .264 caliber. Maybe? for .264 Remington Mag?
Would like any input from any one who would like to guess what this is and how could or could not it be used?
