What is the lightest?

I have a 1:10 twist barrel in my 6br. What grain Bullet approximately might be the lightest to try? And what is the ideal grain Bullet for that twist rate?

just shooting. I do not shoot competition just punching holes in paper or maybe a ground hog or 2 if I am lucky. Just wanting maybe to see how good of groups I can shoot,

Out of a 10 twist 6br I've shot 63, 66,68,70,75, 80, 85, 90, and 95gr bullets. Depending upon the amount of freebore you have, what primers you use in conjunction with what powders you might have will drive what makes you happy with the way it shoots. Personally, I like the 10 twist with 75-85gr bullets best with 8208 powder and which ever primer and seating depth makes the load work right. With 80grainers being my favorite for shooting well and relatively easy to tune. JME. WD

Just finished load development on a new 10 twist. 68 Barts and 70 Nosler ballistic tips shoot great. But the Berger 87 vld is amazing.
