What is the best way to apply HBN to bores?

Take a table spoon or two of HBN and mix it with 99% alcohol(about 8oz). Use a clean 7mm bore mop dipped in the mixture. Push mop through the bore action to muzzle. Once mop exits muzzle unscrew mop and remove rod from the bore. The alcohol will evaporate and leave a coating of HBN in the bore. A word of caution: make sure there is no HBN left in the chamber/neck area as this could cause problems because of a lack of needed clearance in that area.

I have only just tries the HBN mixed with alcohol in a well cleaned barrel and found that over the cronny, the velocities stabilized very quickly. The velocities didnt increase or decrease much from the first shot. Havent tried this method on target yet but I will be interested to see how it goes.
