What height for Burris Signature Zee 30mm and Sightron 8-32x56?

Looking for people who have the Sightron 8-32x56 scope and have the Burris Signature Zee 30mm rings.

I have read some people, using mediums, high and extra high. Some say extra high are too high.

Burris tells me extra high.

This will be mounted on my Savage 12 F T/R.

What are your experiences?

This is not a direct comparison but maybe it will help. I've got the 8-32x-56 on top of a Savage Precision Target Action with a Farrell 20MOA base and the Z rings. The bottom of the scope tube is .280 from the top of the base. Can't remember what height ring that translates to. The barrel is a Krieger HV. I've got about .050"clearance between scope objective (& sunshade) and barrel.

According to the dimensions on Burris's website, the 30mm Z medium is .270" from bottom of scope tube to top of base. The high is .395". So it looks like mine are medium.

It will depend on the height of your scope rail. But most will need a high ring. I have used med on Bat's with there 20moa rail and 56 objective scopes.

Ok, looks like Burris Signature Zee 30mm HIGH rings will be the answer.
