What happens to case feed when changing cartridges?

I have a 'magnum length' Win Mod 70 action (once I took the magazine spacer out and trimmed the bolt stop). I was thinking of re-barreling to 375 H&H but was worried that there might be a feeding problem due to the differences in case taper. If there is a problem is it just a matter of getting the H&H magazine follower or something more? thank you.

We really need to know what caliber you're switching from. The H & H's have a lot of taper on the case and SHOULD feed pretty well. At least they were designed to but it could require a follower change ???

Sorry - the original cartridge is 300 WinMag so I'm going from a fairly straight case to to a fairly tapered case.

FWIW, the throat is so long that I couldn't seat the bullet out long enough with the magazine spacer in place - a Sierra 200gr SBT can now seat to the base of the neck w/o touching the lands and COL is practically 300 H&H length.
