what do you think about the savage 6.5x284

what do you guys think about it? is it really accurate? im only going to be doing the 300yard f-class shoot around our house but am just getting started in it and want a good gun. would this be the right gun? wahts your opinions on it? thanks

300yds with a 6.5-284 is a complete waste of powder and barrel life.

Savage may be bringing out the same rifle, but in 6mm BR, later this year. If your matches are going to be 600yds and in... there ya go.
