What do I need to do to shoot in my first registered NRA F-class match? Do I just need to be a member of the NRA or do I need a special registration for my class of shooting (FT/R)? We have Washington state mid-range match coming up in June and Regionals in July that Id like to shoot at, so I want to make sure I have everything lined up. Thanks guys!

The NRA does not require you to be a member but it's a good idea to be one and have a nra number for record keeping. Some matches may require it. I would contact the match director and tell him you intend to shoot it and get signed up for the match. You want to reserve ahead at some matches. Some states may also require you to be a member of a state shooting association.

All of the matches around this area (WA) that I know of/shoot require you to have an NRA membership.

Some of them require membership in the local organization, WSRPA (wsrpa.net). FYI, I think the mid-range championship is in September and will require both memberships.
