Hey all..
Trying to get back into my project that seems to be on hold all the time!
I am prepping virgin Remington brass to send to PT&G for a reamer. I have a Sinclair NT-4000 that I wanted to use to turn the necks to 0.014". I followed the instructions and started to cut. I noticed the beveled edge of the cutter was touching the shoulder before the entire neck had finished being cut. In order to completely cut the neck I was deep into the shoulder (at least half way down the shoulder). Seems the angle of the cutter is shallower or equal to the 30deg angle of the 7mm SAUM shoulder. (Sinclair website for replacement cutters says they are 30 deg)
So what angle should I be using? They sell a 40 deg.
