Drugstore, Wallymart, etc., Isopropyl alcohol is usually around 91%.Which concentration do you use?
Use that. No need to look further.
No hazardous fumes in the quantities you'd use, and evaporates clean.
It also cleans off oil, so wipe exposed metal with a rust preventive.
All the others, WD40, gasoline, vinegar, etc., are just using the wrong cleaners for uncured epoxies.
Straight denatured alcohol also works, but almost too well; it can damage some stock finishes.
