What case is this!??!

I obtained some brass the other day and it is interesting, but useless to me. I have 100+ rounds of formed and 40+ rounds of fire formed brass made from Rem 308 URBR,small primer). I can not even tell or find this cartridge it is formed into.

Here's the dims of the formed/fired cases... Case name anyone??
Can of like a 7x42mm or a 7BR run in deep, .175" longer/deeper maybe...?

I think it is a wildcat case for silhouette shooting, best as I can guess. It is too short for my 6-250,which so close to the 240 NMC it is not funny) and too short for my .300" longer 22BR.

I'd take $75 shipped if you can use this brass. Offers?

No the IHMSA is 1.866" long and too skinny at the body/shoulder junction at .448"

Kind of like a 7br run in .130" long maybe...?

There are a couple of wildcat 6mm cartridges that have those dimensions,except for the caliber). Known by various names - 6BR Long, 6 x 44, for example. I have some that were formed from the Rem URBR brass in order to get the small primer pocket. Looks to me like some wildcatter took the idea and necked it up to 7mm. I wouldn't be surprised to find the same cartridge in 6.5mm. And put a long neck on the Wolf Pup and you got it in 30 caliber.

Without a barrel the brass would be just another bunch of wildcats.
