What bullet?

60gr berger varmint or 60gr vmax?

I have had excellent results with 52gr flat base varmint bergers, but heard a lot about the 60 gr vmax... I got a new 22-250AI with a bit fater twist than that ol rifle that shot the 52gr bullets... I've pretty much narrowed it to these two 60gr pills...

I dont want to go over 60gr if i dont have to... i want a little speed... i expect about 3500 to 3600 fps with a 60gr and rl15 in the 250AI... im gonna try the 52 gr bergers since i have some... but i donno if they will like the twist rate

Well as you have it, I have a 1-12 22BR that I am working up some loads for. I just got a Berger reloading book in today for some loads on it. If the 64 keyholes I will go to the 60 myself.

I like the VMAX line a lot as well as the Nosler spitzers. I don't shoot paper so don't shoot the Bergers and don't really care for their varmint bullets enough to buy anymore. Try the light VMAX's, you will really like them. They should perform well in your rifle.
