Informal bench/hunting rig I know a lot will say get a rifle for each but I don't have that option
as this will be my first and more than likely only custom build I'll ever do. My bench shooting will consist of 3 to 5 round groups with cool down periods between ranges from 100 to 600 yards with the occasional 1000 yard distance. My hunting will be anything from big game,predator and varmints. I know the rem varmint contour is the ideal contour but would like to go a tad lighter. Been looking at a brux #5 fluted would this barrel contour do what I want? Or what suggestions could you guys make?
