What are you working on this winter?

Mid-December and here I am putting 200 pieces of fully prepped brass into cases for a rifle that probably won’t be delivered until spring. Heck, the action hasn’t even been made yet.





I suppose BTO bullet sorting is next followed by weight sorting several thousand primers. It’s going to be a long winter, especially once I finish all my projects.

I’m curious, what is everyone else working on?

This 70 double cab is my next project just delivered today.followed up with my wifes new ride a 75 Brazilian 15 window
I'm sure there will be some gun stocks sprinkled in between.

The Brazilian is a rare bird indeed. Looks real solid. You going to build a bigger engine or just leave her stock.

I am going to finish restoring some old wooden hand planes my grandfather made in the early 1900's. My grandfather on my Mom's side was born in 1878. So everything he had may be older than him. Then I am going to finish a Savage target action into a benchstock(heavy gun) in .308 for now and I also have my pac-nor 20 smc barrel as well, it shot's as good as any bench gun I have with that barrel but it is just for fun.

I’ll be unpacking and setting up my new shop. My reloading stuff is still in boxes. Some of my new equipment arrived on Friday. I put the bandsaw together, today. Table saw tomorrow.
Wifey wants a new addition on the bathroom and wants me to build her a dining room table.
I have a couple stocks to build for a couple barreled actions I picked up. Probably be March before I get to those.
A friend of mine might have been right. He said “You’re too old to move!”

I will be finishing my 338 edge, just need to glass bed the McMillan stock I was gifted. After that building a rem 700 243 win and making another batch of cleaning rod guides with my shooting buddy too further my training on the lathe.
