What are they worth?

I have a pair of Canon 12x36 IS iii binoculars. The image stabilizer does NOT work. The glass is perfect, their are some scratches on the body from being carried in a back pack ( as seen in photo). I do not have lenses covers or case. I do have the box and owners manual. If you were to sell them, what would you ask for them. You can't hurt my feelings, so if they are not worth the time, please feel free to say so.
Thanks Bill

Well, brand new ones can be bought online from a low of around $632 to around $700, so at a prohibitively expensive $450 for the repair, plus shipping, for used ones you might be better off keeping them to use without the stabilization. For someone that just wants the decent glass without stabilization they may be an option if priced right. I couldn't see them selling for any more than $100 myself, but I'm not the expert. I checked to see if Adorama or BH Photo have any used ones on their websites to see what the going rate would be for working ones, but no luck.

I recently ran into a similar situation. I had a very nice pair of Bushnell binos that accidentally fell under my cars seat and unbeknownst to me i slid the seat back and crushed one of the barrels and lens. After sending them to Bushnell I determined it was not going to be worth repairing. So i decided to throw them in my tool box on my 4 wheeler and i use them as a monocular on the rare occasion that i need to glass at something real quick.
