I have a Remington 700 SA BDL that has a Shilen barrel that was on a Stolle action which has been cut, rethreaded & chambered for a 6MMBR Remington. I need a stock with a flat fore end that will work with this setup that is already inletted and not too expensive. I saw some listed on Bruno's for 286.00 but didn't know if they would work and if they were inletted. Any ideas? I don't shoot competition so weight is not an issue.

Go to www.benchrest.com/shooterscorner/ scroll down the list till you get to stocks. Lots of options for you in the $200-$350 price range. Item W32 for $225 looks like what you are after. Call him, tell him what you're looking for and he'll find something. I've bought stuff from Bob White before and he's ok to deal with. If you don't like it when you get it you can return it.
