what 6 Creedmoor brass is available now and case capacity?

I recently bought a RPR in 6 Creedmoor, looking for availability of 6 brass, case capacity and case longevity.

I tried Peterson Cartridge, they gave me the below info.

EDIT: Peterson 6 Creedmoor holds approx. 53.1 gr. H2O and has a .060" flash hole per Peterson Cartridge. (Now I need to know how much water a 6 Creedmoor SRP Lapua brass holds, anyone?

I bought 200 due to the short supply.

I hope the Peterson SRP(small flashhole) brass is as good as I've heard. Hope to know soon. Still getting the rig together.

Starline now has both large and small primer variants.

I have been shooting 200 rnds of Starline brass for 2 yrs now. Reloading about 30 to 50 per week. (summer months)

Only issues I have run across is the small primer pocket will start to enlarge. You can tell which ones they are by hand loading the primers.

Every once in awhile I will get a primer that goes in so easy I think there was not a primer.

Those I toss into the brass bucket

Have had no case splitting or damage other then a few primer pockets.

I have 200 more virgin brass waiting to use.

Do you feel it's the brass, or are you running a really hot load?

no idea what the water capacity is on the Peterson but I am on my 8th reload with the large primer and I am very happy with it. I purchased 200 cases when I bought the barrel and still have not opened the second box

Not a really a hot load.

40.5 gr of H4350, 140 gr HPBT, 2715 FPS.

But I have reloaded this brass many, many times ( I would say I got over 10 reloads on this 150 pieces of brass).

I shoot every Monday night (During the summer) and will go through 20 to 30 rounds each night. Been doing it for 2 years now.

6mm Creedmoor
My measurements of water capacity.

Hornady 6.5 Creedmoor necked down to 6mm, LRP 53gr
Virgin Lapua SRP, 51.4
Virgin ADG LRP, 49.8

Not sure on longevity comparison. I have had good luck with Hornady. Have not fired any of the Lapua or ADG yet. The necks are thicker on the Lapua and ADG I need to turn the necks or open up the neck on my 6mm Creedmoor, it is a .274 neck, not a S.A.A.M.I. chamber.

Was the Hornady case you measured previously fired?
