Western Colorado 600 yard September match report

It was a BLUSTERY DAY in the 100 acre woods!!!!! To quote Christopher Robin and his friend Poo.

After a week of record high temperatures (well over 100*F) on the Western Slope, we were greeted with seasonal temps (60's) in the morning, which we were all very grateful for, and some darn persnickety winds for the match.

great photos. Would you know the material used for the red and yellow flags, and the approximate dimension? Straight-out flags at that distance , even if made with light nylon material, is usually worth at least 1.5-2.0 MOA....before the problem of gusts or let-offs. Good shooting.

These are the range flags we use. I THINK, when the end is tipped up, it's pushing over 20mph???????

Maybe some of the F-Class or High-power crowd will learn me up on this?

Outstanding,
Thank you Sir!

I have read that book over and over again. One of the best for long range shooters of all disciplines for sure.

Hey guys, this Glenn Hardee from Rattlesnake Ranch here in NC. I am headed out to CO this coming week, Oct 17th. I would love to come out and see the range if that is possible? If so can I get an address?
