It was a beautiful sunny day in Western Colorado with very kind shooting conditions. The wind was more of a light breeze and the temperatures ranged from the mid 70’s to almost 90 when we finished at 2 pm.
The mirage was manageable and everyone shot extremely well.
Our match Director Clay Fowler recently had surgery and could not attend the match in person. Clay fielded several consulting phone calls to iron out details. We missed him and we wish him a speedy recovery.
Everyone pitched in to make it a fun and successful event. 9 shooters enjoyed the day of friendly competition. We started the day with light gun.
Tim Barber won LG with a 4 target Agg of 2.0” (a personal best for Tim) with Cody Lavelett 4 target agg of 2.223 in second place.
Out of the seven competitors in LG the largest 4 target agg was 3.153.
That shows what great conditions and what strong competitors we had.
The smallest group in LG was David Sherman with 1.265 and Tim Barber with 1.574 and 1.711.
Next was tactical. Mike Kiser won with a 4 target agg of 2.753 and Cody Lavelett took 2nd with a 4 target agg of 2.928.
Smallest group was Cody Lavelett with 1.694 and Mike Kiser with 1.994.
We finished the day with HG. Mike Kiser won HG with a 4 target agg of 2.317. Cody Lavelett was 2nd in group with a 4 target agg of 2.401.
Scott Wilson was 2nd in HG overall
Smallest group in HG was Jerry Bush with a 1.236, Mike Kiser with a 1.469 and Cody Lavelett with a 1.672.
7 of the 8 competitors in HG shot a 3.0 or smaller 4 target agg. WOW !!!
Two gun overall was won by Cody Lavelett with an 8 target agg of 2.312 and Tim Barber was 2nd with a 8 target agg of 2.279.
6 of the 7 competitors shot a 3.0 or smaller 8 target agg. WOW !!!
It is sometimes tough to shoot under a 3.5” 8 target agg at our range on a typical day.
Thank you to Shiela Barber for helping out in the score shack and thank you to all the competitors for a safe and efficient set up and tear down of the target frames etc. it is a well oiled machine now.

Todays match participants L to R Jerry Carter, Cody Lavelett, Mike Kiser, Scott Wilson, Timothy Barber, David Scherman, Ram Dhan Khalsa, Scott Pace, and Jerry Bush.
Thank you
Tim Barber
Tim @Thumper thanks for running the match and whipping up the match report.
