Yes the ubiquitous K cup. They are up to about 80 cents per around here. I have put my K cup maker in mothballs. I refuse to play that game.

Once upon a time there was an April fools joke that went like this: Due to regulations and marketing concerns, Ice cream will no longer be sold by the half gallon, instead it will be packaged in 1 1/2 quart containers. Bacon will no longer be sold by the pound, now it will be sold in 12 Oz packages. Sausage will no longer 6 to a package, now 5 to a package, Chlorine Bleach was by the gallon, largest container in the grocery store now will be 2.4 Qt containers. And so the joke went on .....

There is actually alot of truth to this. I noticed alot of things in the grocery store that now comes in smaller packages so the price appears to not have raised much. Matt

We see a lot of this in the UK. Biscuit packets contain as many biscuits as they used to, but individual biscuits have become much smaller over the years.

They did that to Hershey chocolate. I still haven't recovered from the trauma. And the trauma makes me want to eat chocolate. Good marketing.

YEP! got me too... I thought the link was about the 1,000 gram= 1kilo of powder that ADI {Makers of Varget which is AR 2208 in OZ where it is made and just re-branded for the USA} are now putting out.
Before it was mostly in 500gram=1lb 1.637oz {1lb=454grams} but now seems to only be available in 1Kg or 4Kg containers...
