Weaver T series XR 46x48 have they been fixed?

I read about the 46x 48 XR series having oil issues (bubbles) show up internally.

That looked like it was in 2015 when it surfaced. Does anyone know if the ones being sold now have corrected the issue?

Anyone have first hand experience?

Looks like there are some for sale still in the 7-800 range so thinking on this if the issues are resolved

I have two of the XR 46x and no problems of any kind so far. I believe the problems you speak of have been corrected. Natchez had the 46x fine CH for 499.99 last I looked.

I wish I could say the same.
I am on my second one, first went back for repair once, then it was sent back for a replacement I just got home from confirming the second one is worse than the first. I used a Mueller 8x32 target scope and shot two groups a 5 shot that is o.239 and a 10 shot that measured just over .6 at 100 yards. This with a 6br.
Yesterday out of 17 shots only twelve on paper and it looks like a "00" buck shot hit the target.
Weaver is stepping up to the plate they are issuing a UPS recall tag and refunding the cost of the scope plus the original shipping.

you can get these from ebay Sportsmans supply for like 400.00 to 450.00 sometimes but the clicks are mushy on the new ones, I bought a 36xr and like it very much, very clear much better that the sightron 36 or big sky 36x
