Weaver Spotting scope

What do you all think about the Weaver spotting scope 15-45X65 for seeing bullet holes at 200 yards?

That's not a very demanding level of performance you're setting. Almost any spotting scope, especially one with a 65mm objective should do the job, with some distance "left over", maybe out to 3 & 400?
Beginning at around 300 yards though mirage will be a factor at times.

My lesser cost spotting scope is a Bushnell Spacemaster 15-45x 60mm and it does a good job to 300 yards, depending on lighting conditions. For anything beyond that I must use the 25-75x 82mm Nikon, not in the same class with a much higher price tag than the Bushnell.

Can't you give it a try before buying, or have a return/refund policy in effect before buying?

You did not say new or used.

My buddy is looking at new scope, i have a Kowa TSN-821M, even I have difficulties seeing my hits. I think the problem at our range is the amount of light that shines onto our targets. The range is surrounded on three sides with trees. And we both shoot 17HMR, 22LR and .223's out to 200 yards

I have a Leica APO and I still have a hard time at times seeing the bullet hole at 200 yards. It depends on the lighting, it the targets are back lit by something that the sun can bounce off of, then the ability to see your holes becomes better. Only once have I been able to see holes in the black at 600 yards, it was a 30 cal and the light conditions were perfect.
