Weaver scopes - any rumors of resurrection?

I was a big fan of Weaver scopes (still am). Has anyone heard any inside information regarding the brand being brought back?

I know Natchez is having new scopes made with the Weaver name. I think they are being made in the Philippines.

Also, My buddy has a Weaver Grand Slam that was acting strange and would not hold zero. He called Weaver and the people @ Bushnell answered the phone. He explained what was going on with the scope and they told him to send it in and they would repair it. This was 2 weeks ago and as far as I know he has not heard anything as of yet from them.
