Weaver Classic Extreme..??...

Would a Weaver Classic Extreme in 8-32x50, with illuminated German #4 reticle be a decent choice for F class mid-range (up to 600 yards)? Natchez has some good prices on them right now. At present I have a Weaver T36 on my Savage 12 F Class 6BR rifle.
 
The classic extreme's used to be made in japan and now they are made in the phillipine's as are nikons etc.That is all I know about them for now but the price is sure attractive if they are decent enough for long range use.
