Weatherby mrk 5

So just curious of the value of a mrk 5 left hand long action. It is currently a 7mm-300 weatherby but barrel is toast. Stock is in decent shape but dinged and scratched because this thing was a huntin rifle. Action is really smooth and trigger is very nice. I believe but don't quote me on this but I believe action was trued when it was put together. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks folks.

It's a little hard to put a price on something like this with no pictures, plus a shot out barrel, your not going to get much for that thing.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I figured just didn't know if the mark 5 action was very desirable. Also with pictures the only thing I got is a smartphone and being not computer savvy I have no clue how to put pictures on here. Can it be done with just a phone or not. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you can do it with a smart phone. They have a Weatherby owners site. You might want to try that. This site is more geared to the accuracy, benchrest/ target rifle sort of crowd. I've never had any luck selling hunting related stuff like bullets or brass in calibers that you would use for hunting.

I am a Weatherby fan, collector, shooter, hunter.

There are many factors that go into valuing a used rifle, however I can give you a range until you get pictures up.
Absolutely pristine being sold in a shop: $1,450
Burnt out barrel: -$500
Scratched and dented stock: -$250
Warn bluing on action: -$150
"Truing" is a minus: -$50
Left hand: +$150

So, in my educated opinion, cross referenced to gun value sights I pay subscriptions for...

It would be worth somewhere between $600 and $950.
