Weatherby Mark 5 bolt face open up

Have a Mark 5 action for the the big magnums but need to get it opened up about .010" to accommodate the Lapua .338.
Current bolt face is .588", same as the cartridge head. Don't have the means on my lathe or small mill to do that. Who is doing this work today?

You'll have to make the bolt stop slot longer if it was a regular magnum if wanting to use long mag box. Just had to do one for 300prc.

It's a 30-378 WM and it's long enough. Will leave as is for now as customer said a friend had done the same and it worked ok without modification. Still working on securing a reamer & gages.

If you remove the extractor and ejector, I can open up the bolt face diameter .010.

I would need the bolt shroud to ascertain the thread size and pitch.
