I am about 30 miles from Buffalo and I have been fighting the snow all day. Probably close to to 20" as of 5:45 pm EST.

in Destin Fl, retreat of the "snow birds" we have 28f with wind chil in low 20s, Gore should be gored.

I just saw the weather report and they say that by buffalo and surrounding areas may have yards of snow by Thursday. It has happened before so it isn't something that has never happened. Most folks are prepared for these squall areas.

In addition we had a snow storm back in 1995 and the weather service said it would start at 8:00pm and I stepped out of my neighbors house at 8:01 and it started like they said. When it was over we had about 40 inches in about a day and a half.

One has to love this snow stuff. It comes every year and they freak out every year.

Pretty bad just north of me, we dodged a big one.. little snow early and it turned to rain, apparently it stayed all snow for Buffalo.. looks bad
