Weapons Shield - ever use it?

If you're talking about the Shield in a spray can for "long term storage", then yes, I use it. I have some guns in long term storage in plastic gun bags and the Shield works great with them. I check, clean, and re- apply once a year.

I am not familiar with the product that you are discussing, but it sounds similar to Boshield T-9, which is superb for tools, guns, etc for long term storage.

I've turned to ATF. Inexpensive, easy to get and works very well. But "long term storage" in my safe is rarely longer than a year.

I have used it for about four years now on all my guns, pistols, revolvers, rifles. I like it.

Works well, stays put and doesn't smell bad at all.

Does help with cleaning as well.

I still use grease where grease is needed, WS elsewhere.
