Weak brass, loose Chamber, or excessive charg?

What could be the cause of this mysterious ring above the extractor groove?

Note: Factory Loads...

That's normal. The brass above the case web is expanding out to the chamber dimension. The area it contacts the chamber leaves the slightly dull area on the case and the area below it stays shiny.

Ironically, I have been shooting the same brand, same bullet weight. Ever since I got this rifle,2 Months) and never noticed this until now. :crazy:

Just think how bad you would have felt if they came out of a brand new chamber looking like this 'O,
A 6br with a belt, yahhhhh.

Something of that nature would be worth a nice little vacation, for a visit to whom ever is responsible for such an error.

That would have been a loooong drive to the west coast, but they did make it right with a new 1.350 28 inch SS 3 groove barrel with a brake on it, and let me keep the old one as a bonus.
