I believe this to have the primer crimp.

By using the primer pocket uniformer, do I still need to remove the crimp or will the uniformer do it for me?

Also, if needed, I was looking at getting the Dillon Super Swage 600 or should I get something else. I have the LEE Classic Press.

Thanks again

Yes it is probably crimped, the same headstamp that I have is. Good luck trying to use the uniformer without swagging the crimp first. I use the RCBS swagging die unit and it works great as long as the headstamps are segregated. I saw on the bulletin that they are coming out with a new stand alone device that looks very interesting. FYI, I have found WCC headstamped cases to have the least case wall variation and I only cull a couple of percent when using .003/inch as a limit. LC is over 50% with the years 07 and 08 that I have worked with. I feel it is worth the effort to prep it. ;)

Here is what I use for removing crimps. It in inexpensive and quick if you have a lot of cased...or a few. Chuck it up in a drill and get busy

If you have one of the case prep centers like the RCBS you can use an inside the neck champher tool to remove the crimp quickly. I also have the RCBS swedging tool that I use. Work good.

I have the Lyman Case Prep Center with the Primer Pocket Reamer.

Do I really need anything else?

Hands do get sore after a bit, figured the Dillon would be faster and easier on the hands.

But if what I have is all I need, I guess I dont need the Dillon.

I use the Hornady version.... I sold my Super Swager in favor of this. Cheap, and just as fast when you chuck it in the drill.

Another vote for the Forster cutter to be used with the case length trimmer. Have been using it for many years. I'd rather cut the crimp out.

I use the Hornady version also. One thing that I like about the Hornady is that it will bottom out on the bottom of the primer pocket, and not allow the reamer to cut too deep.
