What is that brand of snake?

That is a bull snake. Those and prairie rattlers are most of what I see in CO.

i lived in Evanston 80 to 86 only saw 2 snakes. one at flaming gorge res.

Those are either a Bull Snake or a faded Pygmy rattler.. The Pymy rattler is protected. Our Gov'mnt in their wisdom ruined the pygmy's habitat when they created the Flaming Gorge..

Im thinking that rattler is about the size of a 12 ga improved cylinder choke pattern at 20 feet. But I might be wrong. I KNOW I would instantly test my theory, three times or until the mag was empty.

No, Mom had some near her house, mentioned it at work, another gent offered to bring her one in, in a poke. Wiki says will eat another snake, on occasion.
