Wanted Witchita Action 1375 Bolt

Looking for a new or used Witchita 1375 benchrest action bolt with PPC or 222 Rem bolt face for project. Retired and want to do some serious experimenting with cartridge modification for lead bullet shooting.

Hi Jac,,,if you order/get one from Witchita be shure and get the cone bolt face,,,the small ctgs in the .222 class feed into the breach much smother with cone breaching,,,,I had one with the early M-70 style flat face and it was temperamental,,,,just saying,,,hope this helps,,,,Roger
PS...my first good "B"enchrest rifle was built on a 1.375" Wichita and like a fool I traded it away,,,it was one of the smoothest working race guns I have had,,,,grrrrr

I dont know who wrote this article but it is wrong about the parent ctg for the IHMSA line of ctgs,,,,they were based on the 300 savage ,,,and there were specific ctg brass manufactured by Federal just for this series of ctgs,,,NOT 220 russian/ppc ,,,once again you cant believe everything on the internet,,(including this),,,,,,Roger
