WANTED .20 barrel 1-8 twist

looking for a .20 1-8 twist barrel, dont care about the make can be HV or magnum. looking to build a 20-250 out of a rem 700 i already have. anyone with a barrel let me know

Are you looking to shoot just 50/55's if not and you're just looking to shoot the 40's fast go with the 1-11" twist. Adam

my 20-250 9 twist would NOT shoot anything under 50 grn worth a crap. I was vary unhappy with it I re chambered to 20 br.
If you are wanting to only shoot heaves only and not be able to hit a target reliably at 100 yard with a 40 grn at 250 vel a 9 or faster is good but if you want to shoot 40s go with a slower twist.

Just my 2 cents I prefer the br case and have 3 of them and working on the 4th
out of 5 deferent 20 cal offerings the br is my go to guns.

thanks for all your input im planning on only shooting the 50 or 55gr, i already have the 22-250 and plenty of once fired hornady brass. so my plan was 20-250 with the heavy 50 or 55gr or maybe even a wildcat bullet? but i think a 1-9 or 1-8 twist would be best. also what groove design have you 20-250 guys used? it will be mainly a squirrel/ coyote rifle. i already have a 204 ruger and am hooked on the .20 right now? which is why i was looking for a barrel

If you want my brass pm me with your addy I have some ready to load I can dig it out. I was going to expand it back out to 22-250 I have 3 of them. That may be why The 20-250 dident impress me over the 20 br .

so may have changed my mind on the 20-250. i might be looking for a 22-250 fast twist barrel to cut into a 22-250AI or if some one has one already might be intrested needs to be threaded for a rem700?
